I know a few here are into stuff like Aphex Twin but what about his WARP label mates Plaid? I think this new album absolutely slaps.

This is probably my favorite track although I've only spent a couple hours with the album:

That shit was crankin’. I’ve never heard anything from Aphex Twin that I enjoyed (although I’ve only heard a track or two) and I don’t know plaid. And you used slaps as an adjective. So I came into this with low expectations ready to issue your 3rd strike 😁but I can’t. I rather liked it and it is unique. So thanks for sharing.

BTW what genre would Plaid fall under In your opinion?

So happy that I helped you discover this! "Slaps" is the new lingo although but not my lingo generally; pretty much the same as crankin'. Aphex Twin can be annoying but a few tracks I love. They are both considered IDM (intelligent dance music) but a term most of these musicians and their fans hate because it's pretty stupid sounding.

IDM, love it. I like the genre, therefore I am intelligent!
