OK, getting serious about moto's thought, for me it'd have to be at least a triad, since I need it to span at least 40 years.
Black Frigate, of course, Chimney Smoke (a house blend from a shop in Gatlinburg, TN), & either McB Navy Flake or Captain Black (original). At the moment for "just everyday" I keep going back to Chimney Smoke. BF is fabulous but for being around people other than my wife I use an aro.

I hardly qualify as an old-timer, but after a good year of pipesmoking, virginias have become the center that everything else revolves around. So far esp. Samuel Gawith Full Virginia Flake and Capstan Blue Flake. From there I branch out and try as much as I can get my hands on.

WELCOME! I've been piping since the late 80s, and I have been a burley aficionado since the mid 90s. I love VAs too, especially when mixed as in a VA-bur blend like JKP.
For sometime Solani ABF and Wessex Burley Slices have been my go to blends. Both are challenging to find now, so I am thankful for HH Burley Flake. HH ODF and HH Bold Kentucky are regular smokes for me too.
Burley rocks my pipe socks!

Thank you for the welcoming everyone.
Noted: Nightcap, some virginia flake, and I'll have to dabble in burleys.
(Still trying to figure out what you damned pirates are talking about).
Weez, I'm from picturesque Wyandot County.
Cheers!
