I'm not quite sure I'll be able to handle FL long term, but it's been enjoyable in the good moments. My visits in Jax were always short and relegated to one area, gritty town, friendly people.
I lived in ATX for a little under a decade, which despite not being TX I spent plenty of time working in every corner of the state. I've got nothing but love for the people of the great state of Texas.
Panhandler, I infrequently visit that shop now a days as I hate paying MSRP on cigars (frequently more at that shop, but that's none of my business.) Picked up a stick the other day and asked about their pipe tobacco selection, it was a tin of Gordon Pimm and some aromatics that I can't recall right now. The other shop in town only carries supervalue. I have little respect for either of the business in the sense of being genuine tobacconists. (Sorry for the snobbery, I've just witnessed practices at both that I don't think I want to support.) The cigar bar might be a good place, I'm not sure of their pipe policy but I don't think it would be an issue.
