I picked up a Scotte too about a year ago. The accessories and tobacco pouch alone are worth the price of admission. The case stays in my car at all times and is holding up well.

Note, the tobacco pouch is actually magnetic to help it adhere to the pipe case.

Nice gift. Enjoy it in good health.

I've got one too, but I don't use the tobacco pouch since it seems to dry out the tobacco to a dust quicker than I can smoke it - even with a boveda pack. It seems too porous.

Any tips on how to use this accessory effectively?

Keep the tobacco in a ziplock baggie and place that in the tobacco pouch.
There should be sufficient room for a couple of different blends

Thanks! I thought about doing so, but was curious if it was meant to work without bags.

There is a zipper pocket with an open pocket right behind it. Has anyone had this zipper pocket come lose on the top side of the pocket? The stitching on mine seems to have completely come lose and now it's just two open pockets with or without the zipper.

The tobacco pouch is meant for tobacco. If carrying multiple blends, I put the tobacco in plastic baggies first. The pouch is magnetic, so it adheres to the case somewhat.

Haven't had an issue with the zipper on the case. But I never tested the limits filling it with many items. If it still holds things, you still can't beat the price for utility.

It depends on how moist the tobacco was to begin with.
Tobacco stays moist in those rubber-lined pouches for 3-5 days.
On the other hand I have had tobacco in ziplock baggies keeping well for several months.
