Saw some pipe tampers on smoking pipes that I really liked, but couldn't really justify the price for something I'm gonna lose under the driver seat or inside the recliner.

Shot a picture over to my neighbor and a couple hours later he sent me this.

From left to right - white oak wine stave .44 magnum, white oak firewood .44 magnum, and granny Smith apple wood .38 special.

Those are really neat and a great gesture from your neighbor!

I cant justify a tamper without a pick. I've tried, and whenever I dont have a pick, the tobacco dottle gets stuck to the chamber bottom :ROFLMAO:

These are so nice and allow for so much customization and each is unique. I dig it.
That's definitely his thing. When I commissioned him for my falcon pipe rack he was only moderately excited. When I told him I had no guidelines, I'd never seen a custom Falcon Pipe Rack and he would have to just figure it out, his face lit up. He's in his element when he's turned completely loose on a project.

Somewhere around here I have a tamper I made with a 338 Lapua Magnum case and bullet.
It really makes people cringe....because I pressed a projectile into the nickel plated case, and put in a dummy primer.
So when I use it, it looks like I'm using a live round. :)
I'm so silly.
