Did I get a good deal? Any opinions on the pipe? Looks neat in my opinion.

Well I'm no expert but it looks like a great deal to me The pipe looks new and won't require much work to clean - the stem doesn't even appear to have been smoked.
Edit - just saw the title says unused. Definitely a great deal!

Judging only by appearance (never heard of that maker), I'd say you did pretty well. For the price of a "bargain pipe", the grain and grade of briar is certainly superior.

BC is a French pipe maker, seen the name pop up around these forums quite often when I used to lurk them.

Yeah BC makes some nice pipes, I would say you got a good deal, only thing about it is you cant tell from te pic if the stem is oxidized which will require some cleaning, oxidation can occur even on a new unused pipe if it sits long enough. But i like the grain and either way looks like a good smoke.

BC makes a pretty pipe. My only concern is the heavy lacquer they use. If you smoke it slow, it shouldn't heat up too bad. I don't smoke my BC in the summer, lol.
