Congrats. Looks great, and very interesting. The history would be great to get hold of, but we all know a pipe doesn't have to be a big famous brand to be a great smoker.

I have seen a couple of Whitehall pipes on Ebay. I purchased one a few weeks ago; however, when I received the pipe I discovered that it had a small crack that went from outside the bowl to the interior so I had to return it. It was a nose warmer with the same look as the one above. Happy smoking.

I have too much fun bidding on and winning estate pipes. I have more than I need.

Originally I was buying what I thought might be good values. I figured I could turn around and sell anything I decided not to keep. I haven't even tried to resell any of them. Not worth the trouble.

My latest focus is on pre ww11 pipes, and usually American made. LHS, Chicago Grabows, and even a briar C.P.F.

I have a notion that the briar is better from that era, or at least more of it is than later production eras.

The most I've spent on ANY pipe was for a 1954 Dunhill bent shell briar. $67.00. I bought that with the idea of doubling my money.

I don't think the money matters now. That right there is something.

The only thing I found on Piped about Whitehall is the Ben Wade connection, dont matter, If it smokes as well as my Grabows I will be happy

I have a small Whitehall that I bought as a beater. It smokes nicely. Gets a little hot, but I like it.

I like my Whitehalls.
Since I took this picture I also added a Saratoga similar to yours but a straight shape. All the Whitehalls I have were made in Italy. These are all meerschaum lined but the Saratoga is not.
