It's been a long, long time since I've posted, although I've been a loyal lurker for the last couple of years. But I scored a new Moretti morta on the Bay last week and it arrived today. I was so exited that I had to share!

Very nice! Enjoy the heck out of it! It seems most prefer the look of sandblasted morta, but I think the smooths are quite interesting as well.

So I filled it up with some 2012 Christmas Cheer that I've been saving for a special occasion and boy oh boy! A nice cool smoke with just the right draw to the pipe. Marco did a great job on this one, although from everything I've read about Moretti pipes here, I'm not in the least bit surprised. Well worth the $150 I paid for it.

I might have something like something that you have there! =) Been waiting for the weather to get better to try it out, though.

Lovely! Likely yet unusual pairing of the black morta and white stem. Pip-es can become like old friends, especially if I favor them with regular repeated use.

Yeah, I've had three ferrets over the years including a little sable who looked a great deal like my avatar pic. They were a lot of fun.

I agree. That looks like a beautiful dress pipe. Nice smooth finish, not often seen on Morta.
