Pennsylvania & New York
During my primary career, I spent a lot of time in your state, as I had customers in York and Bangor. I recall stopping in Harrisburg once to spend the night, only to find that there were absolutely NO hotel rooms to be had. It seems that the Harley-Davidson plant (of which I was previously unaware) there was having an open-house. I ended up staying in a lovely little bed-and-breakfast (whose name I cannot now recall) on the banks of the Susquehanna River; a delightful experience!
When we worked there in Bangor we would stay in Stroudsburg and eat at this college bar called Flood's. It was walking distance from the motel and had good food and even better jukebox. Studebaker's, west of town, was a good place to eat too.

Welcome from Pennsylvania and New York.

Bangor is the next town over from us. Downtown Bangor seems pretty atrophied these days. I was excited to see it had a record store, but, that shuttered its windows pretty recently. It seems like it could’ve been a neat area when there was more of a local economy, but, is pretty depressed now, like many small Pennsylvania towns we checked out a few years ago when we were house hunting. We’d come across quaint little shop fronts, only to discover upon closer examination that they were out of business. I’ll need look into this Renee’s Cafe and if it still exists.
