I started my adventures with pipes several years ago after finding an old pipe belonging to my grandfather. He was an Italian immigrant born in 1900 who had awesome tales to tell as he traveled the world to send money home to his 8 children. He would sit listening to operas and Aria's at all times of the day or night and always with a King Edwards cigar in his mouth and a small glass of red wine. As the cigar would get close to being his fingers he would place it into the pipe to finish it off. As those memories came flooding back to me I did the very same thing and after several past attempts of trying to get my cigars to fit like my nonno did, I gave up and started researching different pipe blends. This is when the buying frenzy began (which my wife was not the happiest with) but she loves me !
Just wanted to say hello and thanks for the information. This is a fantastic resource!
