Hello from Chesterfield, UK.
I got interested in clay pipes after seeing re-enactors smoking them and bought my first after I moved out of my parents' house.
See my pipe videos here:
I bought the redcoat uniform to wear at re-enactments and I feel it goes really well with the hat and the pipe!

Welcome to the forum @FlyfisherX

@halfdan I bought over a dozen clay pipes from Germany a couple of years back.
They're good smokers for sure but I can't get used to holding the stem closer to my mouth and keep burning my fingertips.

Do you have any tips on a material that I could wrap around the stem close to the bowl?
I've seen hemp twine used and thought that would be worth trying but not sure what glue would be suitable?
Any tips?
