The Savinelli 320 is definitely a great pipe. Out of the box mine needed nothing done before I considered it a "technically good smoker".

I still cleaned up the button a little but that was mostly just me being picky.

You know that I watched that movie that same evening...
I tried ... where did you find it? Netflix?
How about a Myriad of Meerschaums? Cornucopia of Cobs? Bounty of Briar? Plenitude of Pipes? Torrent of Tobacco? :)

You can rent the movie on Amazon for 2.99, or get the dvd for 5. Glad everyone is having fun with the thread, thanks for all of the welcomes. :D

Once you've tried a cob, a cornucopia is inevitable.

Some will acquire a preponderance of Peterson's, others a stable of Stanwell's.

I'd be willing to bet that one of our members has a gross of Grabow's.

I got my Savinelli Pianoforte Rusticated 320 in the mail yesterday (beautiful pipe). I just smoked it for the first time with some FM On the Bayou and absolutely loved it. The bowl is huge, I'd say I was pushing an hour and a half on that smoke.

I'm considering making it strictly a Frog Morton pipe, but I'm not sure I want to dedicate it since it's the nicest pipe I own.

Thoughts?

Hey folks,
Just started piping about a month ago. It started with a Sasieni Mayfair, then two cobs and now two more briars on the way. I have apparently purchased a Kaywoodie with a stone embedded in the stem. I have not received in the mail yet. But I am curious...was that a big thing at some time? Putting gemstones in pipes? I saw a member here has one called "ole Ruby" and that is the only one I have EVER seen aside from the pics of my soon to be smoked briar. Any info would be appreciated. I've lurked on this site for a couple weeks and have learned a great deal. Thanks.
