hahahahah. the last part really rings true.Still practicing but semi retired. My practice is being run by a former intern from Cornell that spent a few months at our practice a few years ago.
I do surgeries for several local vets. Surgeries that would otherwise have to be done in Buffalo or Erie PA. Bone stuff, vascular stuff, nerve stuff, you know, the PIA stuff most vets don't want to do.
I would much prefer working on a 2500 pound Belgian with a toothache than a 400 pound lady in a bathtub....just saying. Other than the ABCs, not much transfered over. I actually understand animals ailments more than peoples. Dogs never swear to god they're having a heart attack, when in fact they just ate too many tacos.![]()
but it sounds like you still keep busy. sounds like really awesome, challenging work too. great you get to customize your schedule
