Just stopping in to say hi. Long time cigar smoker and started smoking a pipe a few months ago. Just didn't have the time most days to smoke a cigar and hated tossing them half done. Figured I'd give pipes a try (my grandfather used to smoke one when I was a kid) and here I am months later going through 6 bowls a day on average lol. I think I've had maybe 6 cigars in the last three months !!!

I like to start in the morning (mostly) with an Aro and a cup of Joe (sometimes I'll smoke Pease's Chelsea Morning or EMP) and then go through my day swapping between English blends and VaPer's (although I am really digging English and Balkan Blends more these days). Happy to have found a place where I can learn more and more about this wonderful hobby / habit I've developed.

Greetings from Texas. Spent a lot of time on Long Island. My parents moved there when I was in my twenties and my sister lives in Oyster Bay Cove. Fun place.

Welcome from central N.C. My wife worked mostly in Nassau County at Newsday, the major newspaper there, with a stint at New York Newsday on Manhattan where they taught the haughty NYT a thing or three, though they couldn't hang on, so back to Nassau County. I enjoyed commuting up there and gadding about Long Island and Manhattan for a few years. She lived up in Suffolk, in Ridge near Riverhead, but worked in Nassau. She also had a place in Greenwich Village until the hedge fund people bought the building. I don't think anyone lives there anymore; it's just "investment property" ...? So goes Manhattan.
