Hello everyone, My name is Jeffrey and I'm from northern Illinois. I use to smoke pipes in the early 80's but I was strayed by Marlboro Lights. While cleaning out my basement a couple months ago I came across my box of pipes. This came at a time when I wanted to stop smoking cigs. Yes I am still smoking cigs but a lot less and enjoying pipe smoking very much. I'm giving myself this year to completely get off cigs and into pipes 100%.

The guys from the Chicago club are super nice. Even though many of them are pipe experts, they are not "pipe snobs" at all. They are very welcoming, friendly and warm.
The Chicago Pipe Show is the biggest and best too. It would be great to meet you there.

there wasn't any plans or blueprints, 25-30 years ago I saw one at a Tinder Box. I ordered a hunk of briar and made it on my dads little workbench with a little table top drill press. I drilled the air hole 1st and used a wood bit (the kind with the V on the bottom) to drill the tobacco chambers, kept drilling till I hit the air hole. Works great.

I don't smoke it very often, i fill both bowls, light 1 and cover with my hand and light the other. Getting them both going good is half the fun!
