New to all this, at least to having help.
I had bought a cheap wood pipe (bowl was drilled for shank) at my local B&M 6 or 7 years ago when I was really going hot and heavy in cigars. Didn't think to google for help and came away underwhelmed. While I love the smell of raw pipe blends, it didn't appeal to me smoking it. Also note, I probably only attempted three times. More kids came and I put the pipe in a box, and stopped cigars for almost 4 years. Started back with a couple in the last month. Found that old pipe and got to thinking. I lit it up last night And really enjoyed it. Keep in mind, the pipe is garbage (I had to glue the shank back on) and the tobacco has been in it's ziploc bag all that time. So I found a good deal on a Caillero and ordered it. Probably not great, but a MASSIVE upgrade from my current. Have considered ordering or picking up a cob also.
Anyway, greetings! I'm primarily a lurker, for a while anyway. Been lurking here a week or so already and just signed up today.
