First, congrats on the IMP! They really are great Pipes that have set a high

standard for the Meerschaum industry years ago. I have some in my modest collection

and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a good Pipe.

I'm not sure why you say that. I believe it brings a whole new aspect into pipe smoking, patina coloring.

Very nice. Now, will you be wearing a white cotton glove when you smoke it? I only ask because years ago I was told that wearing a white cotton glove prevents the oils from your hands from be absorbed. Just curious.

Papipeguy, I don't do the white glove thing, but I do try and be careful and hold by the stem when the pipe is new.
