New IMP Lattice Sitter

PAD struck when visited a B&M last week.. New IMP lattice meer sitter. Nice and light (not weighed yet however). This was old stock in the B&M case probably from ~2000. Stem is a push in, not threaded, and tenon is integral to the stem and nice size airway. Bit is ok, but a tad thick compared to most of my pipes. First bowl is Robert Lewis Tree Mixture and the pipe and I are liking it!

I have several IMP meers, not a bad smoker in the bunch - The coloring over time will be stunning - Congrats on the new edition - I have a bent/rusticated apple from IMP I need to start really working on - I was thinking about getting their coloring bowl.

You can tell by the shaping and logo design that it predates their temporarily going out of business in 2015. Both eras make great pipes and they are a great group of folks. They even gifted me a pipe for my upcoming birthday.

Pipe is 6.25 inches OAL, chamber is 20mm x 45mm and weighs in at 36~37 grams dry. Interesting about the balance: will sit right when empty and dry, will sit right with full bowl of tobacco, but when the stem gains a little weight from moisture when smoking, tends to rock back and rest on the bit (unstable) or want a stand.
