It’s been a while on the update but have been posting in the “What Are You SmokingL thread. I think I mentioned I was over 100 bowls in that thread but looking at my bowl count chart on my phone, I’m actually at 80 bowls. Come quite a long ways and it’s coloring nicely I think, though one can always want more! Yellow discoloration around the bowl is due more to finger oils holding the bowl. I have a condition that causes my hands to sweat nearly constantly which has stained a lot of the pipe (as gross as that is)….Here’s some pics of the bottom and the shank
This is looking great. You might have inspired me to pick up a lattice pipe next paycheck.
Another update, frankly I lost count but I think I’m around 275-300 bowls now. Color has darned significantly. While I haven’t been smoking much lately, the little smoking I do is almost exclusively in this guy.

Not to hijack your thread, but I have a Lattice that ive only smoked maybe 100 times over the last 15 years. But im smoking it more this summer. It has colored evenly, but slowly due to the limited use. It's very difficult to get good pictures of coloring Meers without good lighting. The second Pic is from a month ago. The third is from last Summer. The pipe is so much darker than it appears. Im going to take some time to get better pictures eventually. 
No hijacking detected. That’s a beautiful pipe. Lattice is hands down my favorite. You smoking opium in this thing?
Kidding aside, do you smoke specific types of tobacco in these meers? I’ve always wondered if Latakia blends would give meers a darker color.
They were both well colored when I got them, so I'm not sure what was smoked in them. Opium actually turns into a green color when smoked (don't ask me how I know...)
