Greetings. I am new so please bare with my inabilities. I have smoked a pipe for many years now and have begun to collect a few. My latest acquisition was two medico vintage pipes from an antique dealer. One is a ventilator and the other is a Bold Rebel also vintage. The last one has me puzzled though. It has an eight sided small bowl with a long stem The bowl is white in color but with what seems to be painted flower designs on the bowl. Anyone know anything? Later Tim

Welcome to the forum, Tim. I'm sure someone here can help you out.

We would like to see pics of all the pipes, not just the one you are curious about.

Welcome Tim ! Your "Bold Rebel" was I believe made in the late 60's to early 70's. It and the Medico Spectrum were Medicos answer to the Kaywoodie White Briars and the Color Dukes and Viscounts made by Grabow. A lot of folks don't like the painted pipes but I have have several of the Grabows and Medicos and they were all good smokes. My theory is that the Bold Rebel was made to appeal to the young hippie crowd of the 60's-70's.

Thanks everybody for replying to my questions and I will try and get some pics up of my pipes sometime today or tomorrow. Right now though I have a sewer problem at the end of the property. I think I need a new pump in the main tank. God bless and keep on keepen on. Tim
