Bigvan and Charlie, thanks for the advice. I really like the fact that everyone is so passionate and willing to share their facts and opinions. It is a big help to this new guy.

Of course, theres always a big chance of information overload :)

But probably, if you take any of the advice you've been given here, you will find something you like.

Its kind of like going to a cigar forum and asking "whats the best cigar?".

A million different answers, and most of them are right.

Right again Lonestar. Everybody has opinions, and to each person they are fact. I have been overwhelmed with the responses I have gotten. Signing up on this site and forum was the best thing I could have done. This group is one in a million. Strike that - BILLION.

Yeah, thats why I was hitting on the whole budget idea.

If we were talking cigars, you could say I want the best $5 or $10 cigar or $5o or $100 cigar.

Kind of the same idea with pipes.

Do you want the best $25 pipe or the best $250 pipe ?
As far as tobacco, most of them are priced pretty closely.

Its a matter of bulk tobacco price versus tin tobacco prices really.

Some of both types are really good.

The BEST way for you to find a good tobacco will be the newbie sampler trade in another post.

Lonestar thanks again. I'll have to check out the newbie sampler trade. I think I've seen something about it already, but I didn't investigate. Where in Texas are you or are you from? My wife is from Nacadoches(Not sure of the spelling) Here parents live in

Greenville. I was in the Dallas area painting Cirlce K's back in 2006. McKinney, Terrell, and some other small towns. The worst was on R.L Thornton though. There were 2 Cirle K's across the highway from each other. Man, I didn't know if we would make it out of there alive or not.
