I‘m from North Texas.
occasional cigar smoker ( Fuente and Macanudo ) for 30 years, but I‘ve had a couple of Peterson’s for 20 years.
I’m switching to pipes now, as cigars seem to suddenly give me headaches, oddly enough.
I’ve become partial to Stanwell pipes with the 9mm filter, though I enjoy my vintage Bjarne freehand ( unfiltered ) immensely.

Welcome aboard from central North Carolina. Two pipes is aplenty, though I am one of those who accumulates pipes, PAD, pipe acquisition disorder. If you like your Bjarne, you might like pipes by their former head carver, Mogens Johansen, who goes by Johs. He uses pre-formed Vulcanite stems, but excellent briar that is light weight for its size. SP carries his pipes, as does Iwan Ries. Danish pipes are some of my favorites, Stanwell too, though they are now made in Italy.
