I got an amazing deal on another large Mario Grandi pipe. Just received in the mail this afternoon and am wanting your opinion on what very first bowl full of tobacco I should smoke in this giant. I am trying to decide between the following:

Russ' Snow Drift

Scottys Pancake

Sutliff Chocolate Supreme

Sutliff Molto Dolce

EITC Cellar Reserve

EITC Officer's Club

EITC Royal Challange

Lane Dark Red

Now that's a good looking pipe.Enjoy it and treat her right and you will get many great smokes out of her.

Really bold pipe, finish, shape, and stem. I'd probably go with a non-aro burley, but all your picks sound great.

Thanks everyone for the compliments! Finally smoked it last night with a big serving of EITC Officers Club. It smoked as well as my big Grandi volcano; very open and very cool. The shape fits my hand better than any of my other pipes. I have a weird feeling this certainly won't be my last Grandi pipe :puffy:

Awesome looking pipe. I was going to suggest the Dark Red also. So, how did it taste in your new pipe? I just recently got a tin of the Cult Red Blood Moon but have not opened it yet
