Still in Kendal, literally less than a mile as the crow flies from the old factory.

Excellent. :)

That means no one a year from now can screech about how your blends all changed because the air is different at the new location, the prevailing wind blows from a different direction than it did at Kendal, or the gravitational pull of being higher or lower in elevation negatively affected the atomic structure of your tobacco's flavor molecules.

As for North Star; I just bought 8 oz. to see how it tastes.

Comparing it to Brown Flake Licorice, the licorice flavor is about the same, although maybe a little less… I haven’t smoked BFL for a couple years.

There is a definite licorice flavor, but it’s nuanced, noticeable in the aftertaste mostly. Sort of like comparing Wiley Wallaby Classic Black and Finnish Salmiakki. I also noticed a Maryland 609 flavor in North Star, which I like.

Since we're doing a @gawithhoggarth Q&A, might it be possible to get an uncut plug version of Coniston? I love the way the solid plug presentation deepens the flavors of Dark Plug and Cob Plug compared to Dark Flake and 1792 Flake, so I'd sure like to see a solid plug version of Coniston too! puffy
