There are no pipe sympathetic folks in my region that I know. I don't understand it. But, nothing comes close in flavor range provided by pipe tobacco. I need to learn more.

Hey, from central North Carolina. I loved Mendocino when my late wife and I drove up along the ocean with a SFran friend. So beautiful. I grew up in the Chicago area, but have spent most of my adult life after the Navy in N.C.
Pipe smoking is regional. This part of the tobacco belt offers almost no tobacco pipes in yard sales, antique shops, flea markets, etc. I guess it was the cigarette belt.
