I've been a lifelong woodworker, and cigar smoker since covid started (that was my way of coping with isolation) but recently started smoking pipes after acquiring a few estate pipes and restoring them. I now have a nice collection of some new, and some very well cared for estate pipes. I enjoy the restoration process as it uses many of the same skills I use to build classical guitars. I haven't smoked a cigar in 6 months as I much prefer the pipe. I guess you could call me a convert!

Welcome to the forums bud. I was never able to really enjoy cigars like I thought I would. But pipe tobacco is a whole different story. I know how much more I enjoy it so it’s pretty easy for me to understand how you became converted my friend. Plus I think it’s pretty cool that you found that you could dive deeper into the hobby by putting your years of woodworking experience to use. Pretty sure there are more than a couple Gents here that are schooled in the art of woodworking. You fit right in. 💯🍻👍
