Haha it takes good taste to know good taste, sir!Between your Alaskan commissioned pipe series, and other odds and ends (such as those knives), I feel confident in saying - You have good taste.
Haha I wouldn’t be caught dead owning that dog. It was the knife dude’s wife’s dog.Your pooch looks like he has been to the vet and is still suffering the effects of the anesthetic.
Yep, local guy. And you have mirrored my thoughts prior to the purchase exactly!Really nice knives indeed. So is the knife maker local? I can see how these knives would cut plug well. A short, wide blade should give you great control and ability to cut nice flakes.
I think I’m gonna have to save your picture as an example and start looking for a knife made like that. Thanks for sharing!
I feel so much better now. Almost thought we could t be friends there for a minute.Haha I wouldn’t be caught dead owning that dog. It was the knife dude’s wife’s dog.
Salty Dogs was the impetus for this purchase.Nice set of knives there. I too have found a solid clever works well for plug cutting. Particularly Peterson 3p
I have no idea! Mini cleaver maybe? And No, I tried to find a website for them to no avail. I had seen similar style knives out there before though, so some good internet scouring should turn something up.@alaskanpiper ,
if you were to give those plug knives a name or a style of knife, what would you call them? I was trying to look online to see if there’s anything out there like them. Thanks!
any chance this local artisan knife maker has a website?
