New display for my tampers

After the last tamper exchange, I needed to upgrade my rack for tampers. Now I have room for more. Most of these have been given to me. One of mine is on the far left and the tamper that came with the 2014 slow smoke contest is next to it.

I might need to upgrade my pipe rack soon. It is getting crowded. Here is a closeup of my tampers. Bentmike gave me the reddish one that he turned from a blank I gave him.

All the tampers in the second picture are from tamper exchanges, so I did not make them. There are a lot of talented people on this forum. I feel these tampers are worthy of a display.

Your our idea of having them displayed with the pipes makes great utility sense also.

Very nice and definitely handy. I need to come up with some type of rack too as I have a bit of a tamper fetish as well. ::

That's nothing to be embarrassed about, Booker. It's not how much you have, it's how much you love what you do have. My first rack was a four pipe rack made out of a cardboard pipe box

jkrug, A couple years ago, someone organized an event where each participant made a tamper, then at the end, the organizer advised who sends their tamper to whom. I have organized the last couple, so I am waiting for someone else to start another one. Here is a link for the exchange about two years ago.
