Magnificent! A very handsome and striking pipe for sure. Very interested to hear how it smokes. I have been seriously looking at Morta pipes for a couple of months.

all the sedimentary and chemical processes it took to deposit and form it.
Similar mineralization processes go into changing oak into the semi-petrified morta. It's more mineral than vegetable by the time it's made into a pipe.

A very slightly bent Rhodesian with a highly distinctive wide bowl with bead line, nice proportions, and that band really adds the grace note. It will be a pleasure to fire that one up.
