Harris -Right I am blown away by the blast on this pipe. What I like is the finer webbing that is visible running perpendicular to the regular ring grain. I don't know much about sandblasting techniques but I imagine some sort of two part method using a courser or more aggressive blast at first then going to a finer media to bring out the fine texture. In any case it is mesmerizing. The type of blast I'm used to only seeing on fine artisan jobs.
Six -The first couple smokes were great! I can't wait to fire it up again. Completely satisfied.
