Not the best image quality, and getting a good shot was tough, but this is the new pup (Kimber) with our seven-year-old (Ace). Looking forward to seeing him learn the ropes when I'm back from school in the fall and winter!

There is nothing happier in the world then a puppy.
We have so few pictures of our old man when he was a pup....the minute you used to get set to take his picture he was in your face trying to lick/eat the camera.

Great woodcock, partridge dogs. Do you take them to the field bird hunting??? One of the best pointing breeds ever.

We definitely hunt them. With the exception of one English Setter, Brittanys are all my dad and I have ever had or cared to hunt over. I may travel over Spring Break, but fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks are all spent at home so I can hunt. This year, I'll be kept plenty busy hunting with Ace and training Kimber. We really only have quail, some chuckar and mostly pheasant in our part of IL, but I hope to hunt some different birds when school/occupation allows, whenever that is. I do know my dad hunted woodcock with previous dogs, and he takes Ace out to Montana for Hungarian Partridge and Sharptails (when I'm in school, unfortunately).
