New Brigham, Cracked and Dirty...

So i had ordered a new pipe for the first time in about 7 years, a Brigham 2 dot straight billiard, i already have a couple Brighams.

I bought it off ebay, new but the seller had random stuff, not a pipe store specifically. That was my mistake.

It's cracked and the stem is super grimy and dirty, looks like the pipe was sitting in a pile of junk. I requested a return, I'm not happy, I should have ordered from Brigham and More.

How did you know it was JT Market? That's who it was, description was new undamaged.

That account is shady - I can't beleive they had the nerve to pull that crap on you - as for how, I am a tech guy I make my living off ebay- I use proprietary tools to perform searches and arbitrage-

Call ebay because this guy may pull some nonsense and claim you broke it once he receives it and only issue a partial refund - thats a scam I know of

That is horrible. It should be obvious to e-bay that this is neither "new" or "undamaged". How long would you have to smoke it and run over it with your car to get it into that condition?

I really hope I don't get swindled, my gut told me don't buy it from this guy but I was trying to save a buck as he had free shipping.
I've never dealt with this with ebay, what if he claims I broke it? Ebay said to wait till the 18th to see if the seller and me agree on a solution, if not they'll get involved. But what can they do?

I know, I just thought it was a minor error, I know Brighams use their own filter system.

Here's some more pictures, the stem doesn't sit flush against the shaft either, ironically one of my other Brighams is like that, not this bad though. Honestly its gross to touch the stem, feels unbelievably dirty and gritty, and the bag has animal hair all over it, which normally wouldn't matter to me but is just icing on the cake for my unfortunate experience here.

That pipe is completetely f**cked - the photo he showed was NOT as Described - I hope that is what you reported to ebay - Open a Item Not as Described - item NAD - click help and contact and have them call you first thing tomorrow morning or now if you can

that's the same thing - in a few days you'll be able to open a dispute for not as described - but call ebay on the phone today - it seems this seller doesn't respond to buyers ever

Well the seller accepted the return but never sent me any details, refund or shipping label so I requested ebay to intercede and now they're reviewing it for a5 day window in which I'm encouraged to work things out with the seller, I'm still waiting for him to send a shipping label and refund, it's on the seller, I've done my part as far as im concerned. Very frustrating.

well, I think you'll be okay - they need to provide the label- ebay will force the label on sellers behalf - then once postal tracking confirms delivered you'll be issued a refund - seller may issue partial - if that happens call ebay.
