Introducing Hearth & Home Marquee Series Slice O' Gold - The West Coast Pipe Show is always a terrific event, and each year to commemorate the occasion, Russ puts together a special, custom-made tobacco blend. He knew even before the release this year that he was going to add it to his Marquee Series, the blending process went so well that he knew he'd hit another home run. This one is blended to be a retro-style blend, harkening back to the days when most American pipe tobaccos were based around Virginia and Burley. Slice O' Gold stars with a base of bright and red Virginia tobacco, with a little dark-fired Kentucky mixed in to add some body and smokiness. The blend is topped off with a dark stewed fruit essence to create a subtle sweetness. This is an easy one to smoke all day long, and I'm sure all of you Hearth & Home fans will really enjoy the latest addition to Russ's ever-expanding collection of top-notch blends!
