New Arrival : 1909 Barling

Just arrived this afternoon.
A cased 1909 Barling's make stubby Bent Billiard with orific bit Amber stem

An alignment of the planets !
I realised that I had only a couple of family-era Batlings. I love small stubby billiards. Silver bands (to nail the date) and a case are just icing on the cake.

A very lucky find (with help from me mate Dave (@Ahi Ka ).

Came like that. It has hardly been smoked.
I'll take it apart and give it a deep clean next week.

I don't clench and I use rubber/silicon bits always, so the orific bits are not an issue.

That depends more on your teeth alignment as anything else. I find them hard to clench for very long as they tend to roll around my teeth as I do it. I clench until it gets a little troublesome, take a break for a few seconds or so, and then clench again. To my way of thinking, there's a learning curve to clenching them.
