New Amber Mason Jars

So now that Mason Jars are easier to find, they hit us with these amber versions. I know it doesn't matter and a jar is a jar but still pretty cool.

I store all of my tobacco in the basement; and 85% is sealed in Mylar, which are inside of grey plastic totes, so I don't worry about UV...

I have seen those jars come in a couple other colors.

Whatever floats your boat. The amber color would look kinda nice if you had a display rack of them.

Exactly what I'm going to do with them. Rack on the wall with these jars. Just like the way they look

What I was thinking is taking 4 to 8 of my favorite blends and keeping them on a rack right next to my desk. Not so much displaying them but having my favorites right next to me and ready to go. The amber glass is just different and a little more visually pleasing to me.

Vanity...? Just look at half the picture posts on this site. Seems like everybody drags out their tins for background.

Me, I just keep my working stock at hand in small bail jars on a shelf near my desk. Ease of use.

Hell I have only have 1 tin of tobacco and that was a gift. Mine is either a tub or a bulk put in a jar

I use the Amber jars to store tobacco I'm smoking at the time. The Amber keeps the UV rays from deteriorating the tobacco seems to be effective. No need to pay the extra if you're looking to long term cellar.

I like the look of the amber more than clear although I use mylar instead of glass for long term storage.

I found some twisted amber jars on clearance at a grocery store that I keep blends I go through a lot of in and have them displayed in my bar area.
