NEED SOME HELP WITH A BRIGHAM LOOSE STEM

I need some help with a Brigham Stem. I am a relatively new pipe smoker and I pull out the stem of my old brigham just after smoking it so guess what, it's loose as hell. I read many things on the nail polish and the bees wax method but, do you think it will works on the aluminium brigham system ?

Make sure that you did not crack it. The reason Brigham switched from the metal to rubber stems is cracking(or so I've been told). But from my experience with them, pulling the stem out while warm affects the vulcanite not metal?.
