I honestly like all these suggestions too much to choose just 1. I’m definitely writing all these names down for further blends but have chosen Stogie37’s idea of Washington’s Hatchet (pm me your address I can send the sample to) and mso489 I’ve chosen your Iron Ridge name as a brand. (Pm me your address as well for a sample)

thanks all!

I probably should have explained mine. The great lakes actually had pirates (surprised me) and Captain Daniel Seavey's, "Roaring Dan" sailed a schooner christened Wanderer.

I had been naming my homegrown blends after favorite old movies; Forbidden Planet, Space Odyssey 2015, etc... So last year I took my samples to my pipe club for help naming them... and long story short, I ended up with Grateful Dead song titles as my blend names, Ha ha; China Cat, Jackstraw, etc... Eh, it worked; however, when I sent samples out to friends from here, everyone remarked that they expected to taste patchouli and body odor with the Grateful Dead names.

I will probably just name them after the type and year from now on, especially since I will likely be the only one who will be seeing the jars years from now.
