Nearly Have a Full Week’s Rotation

Placed an order overseas long ago for a few pipes, and they’ve just come in today. Two from the lovely folks at Ser Jacopo, and a Savinelli Punto Oro Gold 601.



I’ve been looking at these absolute pieces of art sit around for quite a long while, and with how gorgeous they are, I consider myself very lucky to have gotten them. I’m sure they’ll smoke gangbusters.
Now, after nearly five years of pipe smoking, my collection now sits at 6, which for a minimalist/utilitarian like myself, is so many goddamn pipes.
I’ll probably go for another meer one day, hell, maybe a churchwarden one day if I’m feeling real mentally unstable goofy, but for now, I’m set. Please enjoy the photos while they are shiny and new, for I am going to smoke these things into the ground, and I’ll be damned chuffed doing it.

I admire your self-restraint.
But if I am correct you have been smoking for almost 5 years and had only 3 pipes for most of that time.

Then in the past 1-2 months your collection has DOUBLED (from 3 to 6).
That is statistically a very significant acceleration in the rate of accumulation.

That was my favorite as well. The ring blast angled to flow between bowl and shank is simply superb!
