Just being a mechanical guy in general, I find that pipe breathtaking! That design would fascinate me for ever. Do you ever do non-commissions? I'm afraid a commission cost would break my bank, but it never hurts to inquire.
I'm glad to see you smoking this Sideache! I imagine some folks might just keep a pipe like that as a display piece, which would be a shame. I'm have old British bikes and I'm definitely in the ride-em don't hide-em category.
I should also add Sideaches art website is amazing. I sent this link to a buddy in my British car club, he owns this identical car.

Thought I'd pull up this old thread on steampunk. Nate King is a local to me, Indianapolis pipe maker. Google "Nate King Steampunk" and page through the images. Guy's got mad skills whether it's your cup of tea or not.

I haven't seen a pipe like this before but think it is ravishingly beautiful. Shades of another thread, I will reiterate that what was successfully done best here was to make the machinery "steampunk" aspects of the pipe /part/ of the pipe itself, integral. The pipe becomes the machine. A synergy of curved lines with the straight and angular in a very artistic way. I hope that when that pipe was sold, that gear went with it as it makes the perfect and most logical pipe stand for it!
I'm not sure I would want to smoke that pipe, but seeing it evokes the latent collector in me and I would display it somewhere just to gaze at and admire with great pride! True pipe mastery.

Nate also makes pipes that "split the difference" between traditional and steampunk.
This one is spectacular. One of the coolest pipes ever made in the history of the world, imo. The metal used everywhere is titanium. That alone is noteworthy (titanium is insanely difficult to fabricate), and the styling is fantastic. I'm not sure what Nate called it, but I always refer to it as The Streamliner.
(fwiw, Nate also reliably produces one of the best contrast sandblast finishes I've seen)

Proudly owned by our dear friend Peck.

Now this is starting to hurt. That pipe reminds me of a vintage automobile. And titanium? That is incredible. I've saved pictures of both of these pipes. Now I have to stop looking at such stuff as I keep telling people there is no such thing as PAD.
