I am smoking an old Dunhill with some delicious Gaslight pipe tobacco, mentioning this as this is PipesMagazine and being conscious of politics rules here. That said, please stop with the "Pelosi staged this attack on her husband as retribution for his stupidity in his DUI." As others have mentioned, our political discourse is a danger to our country.

The thing here is that, as a Democrat myself, we are simply not competent enough to execute such a plot. We're Democrats and we're just not organized to do things like The Deep State, running pizza places that are pedo rings, etc. Just as the GOP with Bush/Cheney was not skilled enough to stage 9/11 to get us to go to war, the Democrats just aren't this good in conspiracy.

Such talk doesn't help.

Mike Parson lived three miles outside the Humansville school district or else he’d have been a classmate of mine. My mother taught him in school.

And his mother, and mine, taught us both there is an all seeing, all knowing God that watches us, and from God’s punishment there can be no escape.

For the people that do not care about the laws of man, too few today have no fear of hell fire.

Those must account for such wickedness.

I’d be afraid I’d go to hell for trying to hurt a politician.

You might not agree with them, but killing them should be off the table of consideration.

I was here, I beat the lock.

Interestingly since I love math, this post triggered me to do some math.

• One major party gets about 67% vote in our community the other 33%
• Our community is highly educated with 70% having a Bachelors degree or higher
• Our community is affluent- Median household income is 124K, 40% of the households make more than 150K and most importantly 70% make more than 75K

Anyone see any correlation?
