Bruce Weaver has been making pipes for about ten years, and has become one of the most popular and respected carvers in the U.S. Living just outside Nashville (which has become the Mecca of modern American pipe making), Bruce studied under Todd Johnson and has become especially well known for his sand blasting technique.

Bruce attends most of the major pipe shows, including Chicago. He's an extremely friendly "southern gentleman" and I look forward to any opportunity to talk pipes with the man.

Thanks for this Big Van. I recently bought my first Weaver -an Old Blastard Dublin - and just love the thing. I plan to buy another Weaver very soon - perhaps one of his gorgeous cuttys.

I'll see Bruce in Chicago in a couple weeks. Almost every one of his pipes are sold before the second day of the show, and it's understandable when you see the great work that he does. Personally I would put his sandblast pipes in the same category as Jim Cooke and Lee Von Erck. Just my opinion of course. As much as I love a straight grain pipe, it's hard to beat a great craggy blast. That's a great pipe you have Bigvan. Congrats on a fine acquisition.

bigvan, great looking Cutty. Love the blast and I bet that thing is light as a feather. Congrats on your newest addition, I am sure it will be a great smoker for you. I have one Bruce Weaver and it smokes as good as any pipe in my collection.
