Mylar Bags

After the last order arrived with popped square tins, I've realized it's time to get on board with storing in mylar bags.
What size is recommended for single square tins and where to source?

7 mil with exterior dimensions are 6" x 6". That should hold around 2 ounces of tobacco.

Heat sealed for long term storage. The ziplock ones are good for a while when you open them from their heat seal.

I was using some that have worked great for me. I couldn't find them anymore and I emailed the manufacturer and found out they were replaced with these:

They're only 5 mil vs the 7.5 mil that most people use but these can both be sealed in a regular food saver machine and vacuumed too. I haven't had any issues with them only being 5 mil.

I buy mine from the same place, but I buy the 5 mil resealable versions. I’ve had pipe tobacco in them using the ziploc seal for 3 years and no issues. I actually keep my tobacco in my cigar cooler and you cannot smell the pipe tobacco.
