My winnings from the pipe show!

Hello to all and sorry for not being on for a while. College is time consuming and grades are important.
So here is what has been happening in my world.
I recently went to a small pipe show in Beavercreek Ohio. It was supposed to be a Savinelli show, but long story short, the event was cancelled. Luckily they still had a small show and had a lot of good deals going on. A Peterson Kapet #120 caught my eye so I went ahead and picked it up.

I was then told that I had a chance to be entered in to the raffle that was going down so they took my name and put it on a ticket. I had no idea what was up for grabs. I didn't think much about it because I hardly ever win at anything like that.
They started the drawing and pulled my name! I won a Savinelli 130th anniversary Limited Edition Pipe!

Those are beautiful pipes. :clap: I particularly like the prize.

The only thing I have ever won (besides poker tourneys) was 2.5 KW generator.... It was the "Joke for Generator" contest. :rofl:

Very well done. The last raffle I won was when my bithday was pulled for the draft in 1970. Hardly consideered luccky at the time.

Come to think of it, I won a door prize once. It was at the Fire-Fighters Awards Banquet,....I just walked back into the ballroom from a trip to the bathroom to hear my name over the sound-system followed by applause...(weird thoughts went through my head for sure), and the Fire Chief handed me a giant styro-foam check for $250!

The guy at the liquor store wouldn't take it!
