This is my son's third pipe he's made so far. He used a coping saw, various files and sandpapers, no power tools, except the buffer, in the shaping process. It was a kit from PIMO that I got him last spring. The stem still needs to be finished but I think he did a great job!

Wow Greg, that looks great, especially for only his THIRD pipe?!?! Looks like he's found a new hobby. I wouldn't mind being seen with that burner and would be proud to smoke it at my local b&m!
Cheers to your son on a job well done, buddy.

Thanks, guys! He really does have some talent carving. He had a pretty bad accident carving tampers a couple of years ago with his FlexCut and kind of shied away from carving. I got him a couple of kits to try pipes, something he can carve without a knife (LOL) and it seems to be "taking"!

Exceptional job! It looks like you may have a source for custom freehands.

Very Nice. Your sone has allot of skill in the pipe carving arts. I would be proud to smoke a beautiful burner like that one.

Greg's son made me this a while back. His talent was evident, apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
