The horn material is really comfortable. It kinda grips onto your teeth. Definitely up there in my stem material preferences!

Ropps are good quality pipes at moderate prices. I have a bent poker/sitter, a compact pipe with a good-sized bowl, and a red-stained smooth apple with a raspberry "hand cut" stem, also a smooth smoker.

That's a snappy collection, with some bright stain and some lighter colored stems, and a real variety of shapes.

The Etudiant is such a light weight pipe, as someone mentioned earlier. I recommend it for sure. The J05 does get hot since the walls are thin, though. Have to hold it like a clay pipe sometimes.

Yea the mobill is pretty wild lookin. It smokes really cool. My only gripe is the bowl is tiny. But most ropp pipes have a small bowl, anyway.

Ropp 'til you drop. Here's my favorite Ropp: as close as I could find to what Nigel Bruce smoked sometimes as 'Watson'.

It's a terrific smoker.
