As soon as I read this, I couldn't help but hear Ricard Gear in An Officer and a Gentleman. j/k
But it made me think and I had to chime in one more time on the subject: I've visited other pipe forums. There is no other place go. This is the best--best people, best knowledge base, best witty banter, best cheese dip, and the least amount of asshats.
When you've hit the top of Mt. Everest, you don't look down and think, "Sh*t, it was more interesting on the bottom."

Seriously, I'm a member of several other pipe sites. I like this one the best. Don't get me wrong, others have some really great discussions too, but I've gravitated here because there's always great information for newbies and the experienced pipe smokers alike.

Well, now I don't know if I am coming or going. It had always been my intention to stop at 999 posts. Then I could use my 1000th post to announce my departure in dramatic style.
Unfortunately someone else's departure thread messed up my whole post count! Now I'll have to think of some new threshold to reach before abandoning ship. Maybe 9999 posts - then I'm out of here. So there!
