My wife knows I spend quite a bit of money on pipes and tobacco. She doesn't ask for numbers, but she knows. She doesn't say anything because she can't, considering her shopping habit for well made clothes she wears two times a year and designer bags that sit in the closet.

I counted up how much I've spent over the last 2 years or so and it's probably hovering around $9-10K. I consider my pipes and tobacco investments. Assuming my market research is correct, aged tins can go for a nice price and vintage tobacco pipes on eBay sell for some coin too.

When "You can't take your money with you" holds true, no one ever said you can't take your pipes with you and all that tobacco. I'm going to have the most pleasant smelling cremation ever!
