My Pipes Are Gone!

Well, not all of them. It's that time of year again when I take my pipes to Blue Room Briars for cleaning. I'm on my way to see Jesse and Scott now. They offer free cleaning once a year for any pipe you get from them, and they do a great job, so it's a no brainer to take all my pipes to them. I kept back 4 to smoke until I get the rest back. I don't abuse my pipes, so all they need is a light cleaning and oxidation removal. Still, I will miss them!

Out of laziness and disinterest I refurbed none off my pipes in sixteen years. The feature most in need of care were the vulcanite stems. I made some attempt to restore them with toothpaste and car wax but yielded to a paucity of results, and in this honed my skill of ignoring everything else while reading and writing, which I accomplish daily.

They are sort of under the radar. BRB had four on 12/24, they all sold very quickly! My second choice was sold by the time I got home that day. I probably have about a half dozen Hansen pipes.
