Final exams tomorrow... I decided to take a photo of the family while relaxing with a bowl of SG Chocolate Flake in my Radice. It might be a bit dark at the top of the photo. That's Quiet Nights, Anniversary Kake, Habana Daydream, and Blackpoint.
Radice Silk Cut, Savinelli Tortuga, MM egg, pride, and washington.

Yes, that's SPC open in the background.
Erinmore, Chocolate Flake, Hyde Park, and EMP are open. I am almost finished with EMP. Not bad, but nothing spectacular. I'm a big fan of Chocolate Flake though.

Edit: Thanks Rothnh, I will need it...

I decided to celebrate with an Aging Room M356 Motivo...
It walloped me in the mind and stomach. A good reminder to myself that I enjoy pipes more...

I see unsmoked cobs! You better rectify that toot sweet son! :puffy: In all seriousness, let us know what you think of that Hyde Park. I have a tin waiting in the cellar but havent opened because some reviews have me on the fence. And also, good luck with finals!

Hyde Park is pretty decent. Once I found the right pipe for it it was an enjoyable smoke, nice subtle sweetness and full burley flavor.

Yeah, the unused cobs will have to wait unfortunately. I'm going to use one as my cigar-leaf pipe and the other as my Va/Per pipe (a group of tobaccos that really look forward to trying ... mm escudo -- high hopes for it). I need to finish what's open first -- Virginia, or at least non-perique blends (Hyde Park), Latakia (Chocolate Flake), and slightly aromatic (Erinmore Flake) blends.
I absolutely love Hyde Park. To date, it is the only non-Latakia blend that I've been able to really taste the flavor of (maple sugary). It's wonderful. Try it now and get some more to stash away. Only reasons why I haven't gotten more of it are because 1) it seems readily available and 2) I have many other blends to try first. Oh, and the tin-note is wonderfully figgy. Get it!

You havent tried Escudo? Oh man, you are in for a treat. Those little coins are Vaper gold my friend. Escudo with a glass of lemonade on a hot summer day will cure whatever ails you.
Regarding Hyde Park, Ive heard tell that it is almost akin to a Lakeland blend, Lakelands having a soapy, floral, citrusy (See also: aftershave) type flavor that I dont really care for. Maybe Ill just have to pop my tin open and see for myself.

Aw man, that's not fair. I'll probably have to wait until end of August before I pop it open. I'll be going overseas over the summer where it's going to be extremely humid, so I don't think I'm even going to bother bringing a pipe...
Also,I don't know if I get the Lakeland taste or smell. If it really is there, well, I guess I like it, haha. Either way, that soapy/floral/citrusy will still be there even if you wait to open it, right?
I agree, best test it yourself.
