My Pipe Smoking Chair

I worked mo

st of the winter making this Windsor chair. From tree to finished chair. I veneered the side arm with Walnut burl edged with Yellowheart. It makes a fine place in my library to smoke my pipes.

I studied with Mike Dunbar at the Windsor Institute in Hampton in, NH in 2003/04. Windsors are very comfortable - one of the reasons they are still around after 300 years.
